Duties:Manage all facets of litigation, including case investigation, pre-trial discovery, depositions, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, hearings, and trialsRepresent clients in insurance defense matters, advocating for their interestsConduct legal research and analysis to support case strategyDraft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filingsCommunicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counselManage deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently Requirements:2+ years of law firm or equivalent experienceProficiency in litigation, preferably in insurance defenseExcellent academic credentialsStrong writing, analytical, leadership, and communication skillsOrganized and capable of managing deadlines effectively Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school This Iowa-based firm was founded more than 150 years ago.
