Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities and we are looking for top talent to join our team! We have a 24 month contract; full-time opportunity for an Accounting Clerk - Customs. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: • Perform full audits on all assigned Customs transactions, ensuring to adhere to all Customs regulations • Coding of Canada Food Inspection Agency invoices and preparing internal scripts for upload • Coding of Customs broker invoices and preparing spreadsheets for processing • Prepare and submit export documentation for weekly exports • Complete monthly reconciliations, identifying missed declarations and submit accordingly • Prepare backup for all amendments, ensuring all data is accurate • Data entry for, including but not limited to invoices, customs forms, tracking forms • Electronic filing of Customs documents, including but not limited to permits, certificates, banking submissions.
